Providing a wide range of English-taught programmes in applied communications, business, engineering technology and science, computer information science, health sciences and education, HCT has become the largest higher educational institution in the UAE.

The Higher College of Technology Sharjah Women’s Campus (SJW) is one of the two HCT colleges based in the city of Sharjah and one of seventeen colleges throughout the United Arab Emirates that comprise the Higher Colleges of Technology. HCT Women Campus is located in Sharjah's University City that is 9 km away from Sharjah international airport and 21 km from Dubai international airport.
