International Airport

Merida's Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport (IATA airport code: MID) provides direct flights to several national and international destinations.

How do I get there from the airport?

Merida's airport is located 7.5 km south of the city center. To get from the airport to your destination you may take a taxi cab or public transportation. If you are traveling from aboard we suggest you to use an authorized taxi cab since they are safe and not expensive. Tickets for authorized cabs may be bought in one of the booths at the exits of the airport.

If you choose to travel by public bus, you will have to walk out past the main parking lot in front of the airport building, along the access road out to the main road to catch a bus or to hail a passing taxi. Almost all buses will head you to the city center where you can take another bus or a taxi to your accommodation or the venue.

How do I get to the venue?

To get to the venue (Faculty of Engineering) by taxi is the recommended option. To get to the venue by bus you will have to go to the city center first, then go to one of the following bus stops and take the appropriate route.
